Once the recruitment process is complete and you have found the right candidate for the job, you can move them to the preboarding process and set them up as an employee. In this session, you will be logged in as an HR user.

Steps
In this session, you will be logged in as an HR user.
- Go to the Recruitment module in the main menu.
- Click on the job from which you want to hire a candidate.

Mark the candidate you want to start the preboarding process for and create as an employee.
Tip
You can also mark multiple candidates to perform the action for several at once.
- Move the candidate to the final stage of the recruitment process.
- Now you have the option to move the candidate to the Onboarding and Employee module simultaneously. Here, you need to choose which Form to use for the employee creation and which Process you want to include in the Onboarding module.
- After selecting the required options, you can move the candidate to the Onboarding and Employee modules at the same time.

First, the selected employee creation form needs to be filled out. When you save, the system will create the candidate as an employee and initiate the selected process in the Onboarding module.
Note
Information already available from the Recruitment module will be pre-filled, and you can define which other elements should be filled out on this form.
The candidate has now moved into both the Onboarding and Employee modules.
- Navigate to the Onboarding module.

Click on the candidate you have just started in a preboarding process.
Tip
You can define how your processes in the Onboarding module should be set up.
- The onboarding profile gives you an overview of the actions that the given process contains. Let's try to complete the first action, which is a form sent to the manager.

The manager fills out the form about their future employee and the data is transferred to the Employee module.

With one task now complete and another as current, there’s a clear overview of the progress in the new employee's preboarding process. The progress of the preboarding process can also be seen in the overview.
Data is transferred from the Onboarding module to the Employee module.
The new employee is pending and can be found under the Pending tab until the hire date is active.
The data collected from the Onboarding module can be viewed in the employee profile. In addition, data from the Recruitment module is also transferred to the employee profile.
Now you have started a candidate in a preboarding process and created the candidate as an employee.
