Set up Emply People so that it sends emails from your own domain.
Prerequisite: To set up this integration, you need access to your DNS.
Activate the Integration
-
From the main menu, go to +. Find the Own email domain integration.
-
A window will open where you must click .
Configure the integration
-
Enter your domain name in the field.
-
Select and click .
Important
Register the main domain first and then register any subdomains individually, since each generates its own DKIM and SPF record.
Verify the domain
-
After domain registration, add the displayed SPF and DKIM TXT records to your DNS and verify ownership. If you already have an SPF record, update it by adding your statement.
-
Open the DNS records in place, copy and paste and then click under DKIM and DNS.
-
After successful validation, you will have a sending address formatted as noreply@yourdomain.com to use for email sending through Emply People.
Note
In case you already have an SPF record, you should update it with the include statement from above.
Once you have gone through all the steps above, you be able to send mail from your own domain through Emply People.
Recommended use
-
Use a noreply email for candidate communications to ensure encrypted, secure messages via the career center.
-
Use a noreply email for communications with employees to keep communication within the Emply People HRM system.
-
If using a personal email, proceed with caution—recipients may reply directly to your personal inbox, which may not be suitable for handling personal data.
-
If your organization uses a strict quarantine policy, whitelist smtp.danlon.dk.
