In this article, you can read about the basic setup of a feedback type, which is the first step in starting the work with feedback - e.g. for employee development interviews.
NOTE: Once you have created a feedback form under a feedback type, you can no longer edit the feedback type.
How to create a feedback type
1. Tap "Settings" in the main menu and then tap "Feedback"
2. Press New Feedback Type

NOTE: The settings change according to the "Area" you pick
Title: Give the feedback type a title
Icon: Pick an icon to represent the feedback type
Color: Pick a color to represent the feedback type
Area: Pick an area to assign the feedback type to
Based on: Select whether the form based on the user's own feedback or that of others (in which case the user becomes the subject of feedback).
Under settings, the feedback type can be linked to an event, evaluate competencies, create an overview with summaries and action plans. Please note that the settings change according to the area you choose, as well as who the feedback is based on.
Settings
If you selected "Candidate" in the Area field:
- Relate to event:Under this point, it is possible to link feedback to a given event so that feedback is given on the basis of/after the event.
If you selected "Onboarding" in the Area field, there are no settings to choose from
If you selected "Employee" in the Area field:
- Link to the event: Under this point, it is possible to link feedback to a given event so that feedback is given on the basis of/after the event.
- Evaluation of competencies: Under this point, it is possible to activate the function, where you provide an evaluation of your assigned competencies.
- Summary and action plan: If you activate this function, a tab called "process" will be associated with the feedback type, in which comments and answers can be associated with feedback and an action plan will be made.
If you selected "Department/Team" in the Area field:
You will be able to activate Anonymous feedback. This means, that the feedback will not be traceable.
This applies to both "Own feedback" and "Others feedback".
NOTE: Once you have created a feedback form under the feedback type, you cannot edit the feedback type.
4. To edit existing feedback type, tick an existing feedback type and click on "Edit"
After this, the procedure is the same as for creating the feedback type.
