In this article, you can learn how to start a manual automation.
A manual automation is a workflow including triggers and actions as a consequence of those triggers. The manual aspect lies in the fact that you need to activate the automation for it to start.
To learn how to create a manual automation, go to the article Create/edit an automation. Choose "Manually" in step 6.
Start a manual automation
1. To start a manual automation, go to the area where the automation should take place: Employee, Candidate, Job or Talent pool
In this example, the manual automation is related to Jobs.
2. Select the elements the automation should apply to and click on "Automation" at the bottom
3. In the pop-up, select the correct automation
4. The confirmation message "Automation triggered" appears on the screen
The automation will check the selection against its triggers and execute the action(s).
NOTE: Since an automation is always going to be triggered when the criteria is set to "None", it is not interesting to not have any criteria set up in a manual automation.
