Widget for absences today on a Dashboard

Widget for absences today on a Dashboard 

1. Go to dashboard and click on the settings icon, as shown below:

1.1. Scroll down to find the "+" icon and click on it

2. Add a new Absence widget to your dashboard

3. In the Widget, fill out the necessary information

Headline: This is the title that will appear at the top of the widget

Sort by: The only option available here is to sort by creation date, in ascending or descending order. 

Show only registrations from the current annual period: By enabling this, you can only view registrations from the current period.

Personal absence/Team absence: Select "Team absence" here.

 

4. Then, unfold the Criteria tab

5. Add the criteria "Absence start date" and "Absence end date" as shown below

NOTE: Please make sure to:

  • add "OR" between the 2 "Absence start date" criteria, "AND" between the "Absence start date" and the "Absence end date" criteria and "OR" again between the 2 "Absence end date" criteria.
  • fill out the value "0" for all 4 criteria. If the 0 is greyed out, the widget will not save.
  • use "days after" for the "Absence start date" criteria and "days before" for the "Absence end date" criteria.

The result of this setup is that employees who are absent today will appear in this widget on the Dashboard.
