Functionality of Export Module

Emply People 's export function allows you to create different export files for documents, Excel/CSV, and JSON. The export module can be found under Settings+Integrations+Export. The different export files can also be grouped into folders.

Creating Export Files

When creating a new export file, click + New Export. You will get the following 3 options, also shown above:

  • Document export (e.g. employment contracts)

  • Excel/CSV export (e.g. master data, payroll)

  • JSON Package export (e.g. salary data)

All export types use keywords so you can easily build templates. The file is generated based on selected keywords during export.

Document Export

Upload an export document by clicking Upload file. Use keywords to auto-fill data. To find keywords, click Keywords and copy them from the overview.

In the Keywords pop-up menu, you can select a keyword from list and search for them if needed.

Excel/CSV Export

Excel/CSV exports can include master data on employees or candidates. They can also be used for payroll by selecting Use as export to payroll system.

Create or select export data elements, then click Save.

JSON Package Export

JSON exports can include salary or candidate data. Ensure you create an API key under Settings+Integrations+API.

Specify an internal description, choose employees/candidates, and choose Keywords.

At the bottom of the template setup, you will find a GUID used to test calls in Emply People's API.
