Introduction and preparation

In the following article you will be guided through how to set up KMD in Emply, and then setting up export to KMD.

The following should be prepared before setting up the integration:

  • The customer is responsible for contacting and making an agreement with KMD.
  • Receive a municipality code/customer identifier
  • Customer agrees mapping of different document types with KMD to suit customer needs.

Setting up KMD in Emply

Go to Settings > Integrations > Export > click on '+ New export'.

Then select KMD Opus and click Continue.

In the next window that opens, you will see that the template allows the setup of different file types in multiple fields (depending on your solution). Here you select a title, which will be the visible export title. The area where the export will be available is also selected.

In the example below, Candidate is selected.

In the following you have the possibility to choose which documents will be exportable.

3 predefined buttons - choose if you want:

  • Job ad, built-in element that includes the job ad for the application in PDF
    • Similar to the 'Job ad' type 'ActivityText' in KMD.
  • Compiled CV - built-in element that includes documents from the application in a combined PDF
    • Equivalent to 'Candidate Documents' or 'CV'
  • Documents - built-in element that includes user uploaded documents
    • Equivalent to 'Candidate Documents'

  • It is possible to add other file elements with "Add existing element"
    • Depending on the selected option it can correspond to 'Application', 'CV' or 'Candidate Documents'

  • Job ad is selected for area 'Job ad'
  • Default element/Application is selected for area 'Application'
  • Default element/CV is selected for area 'CV'
  • Documents is selected for area 'Documents'

 

How to export a candidate's documents to the Personnel Folder

Once the export template is saved, it will be visible in the selected areas, among other export options on the candidate and/or employee profile.

Go to a candidate where you have already created a KMD personnel folder. Hover over the menu in the right corner and select 'Export'.

In the new window, select the KMD Opus template you have created.

 


Please note that the employee number must always be entered to match the one already created in KMD. In addition, the employment date comes from the job's employment date, and must always be set manually.

Overview of generated exports

Exporting profiles to KMD generates an activity log under the candidate's account. It contains general information about the exported profile.

Test setup

The customer can now test that the files are delivered to the designated folder(s) in KMD Personalemapper.

Example of error

The reference number refers to the transaction sent to KMD and can be used in case of an error.
