Basic Career Sites Setup in Emply

The basic setup of Emply career sites.

The Emply career site editor is made to accommodate different skill levels for website building. It offers a simple tool for setting up your pages, but the editor also offers a self-coding functionality for more specific needs.

The custom code functionality allows for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding. Custom code can be set up for almost any section including the <head> tag if needed.

Career sites can be easily integrated with analytics services (Google analytics) and can be integrated with almost any system that offers JavaScript integration.

A career site will be given a default URL based on the platform name: (insert company name).career.emply.com, but it is possible to define your own URL using the editor.

We also offer the option to have several career sites at the same time which can be used if a department should have their own site.

Pages

  • The Pages section is used for the setup of the different pages on the career site where we set up what is supposed to appear on each page including ajob list, job agent, contact forms, and information shown to visitors.

Settings

The Settings section is used to define the settings of the specific career site.

Here we can add and change the general layout, the predefined styling elements, navigation method, language, meta tags, cookie policy, site address, access and IP access.

The site address tab is used if a custom URL is wanted instead of the standard (insert company name).career.emply.com.

Access and IP access would allow the option to have an internal career site that can only be access from a specific IP range.

Layouts

Layouts are the main controller of the design of the career site via HTML and CSS and JavaScript- this can be changed as you wish in order to create a design that follows your company's look. The layout section will also allow you to set up parameters that can be utilized in HTML and CSS throughout the site.

The layouts are also where extra code can be added to the <head> tag of the site, which can be used to set up code for statistics and other <head> based functions.

Emply also has the option to create separate e-mail designs- the look of these designs is defined through Layouts on the career site.
